Our Chardonnay is made from 100% Waiheke Island fruit. Malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels gives a creamy, soft texture.
This wine was awarded 4 stars in the TiZwine "Chardonnay and Something Different" tasting and won the "Consumers' Choice" award!
Also took a Bronze Medal at the 2010 International Chardonnay Challenge.Very pleased with this result, as we are the only Waiheke Island Chardonnay to medal at this competition.

Detailed Tasting Notes
Our 2009 Chardonnay is light honey in colour. Flavours include stone fruit, honeyed butter, hazelnut, biscuit, caramelized pear, coconut. This is a ripe and richly flavored wine with no bitterness and a well balanced, long finish.
